In order to cure nervousness from your inner voice, you must first understand what it is and what causes the nervousness inside yourself.
Nervousness can cause a struggle in your inner voice and in many areas such as our:
- Concentration
- Comfortability
- Confidence
- Calmness
- and the list goes on…
Nervousness is unorganized, fast moving energy which is stimulated by a restless mind which sends extra energy vibrating along the nerves. This extra nervous stimulation encourages us to indulge in sensual pleasures to temporarily satisfy our senses, such as…
- Drinking
- Overeating
- Sexual indulgence
- Shopping
- Over Exercising
- and the list goes on…
When you fall into the trap of nervousness, it stimulates your emotional body. This is when the vicious emotions cycle dictates your state of being and you feel out of control. Emotions such as…
- Fear
- Worry
- Sadness
- Isolation
- Anger
- and the list goes on…
Your mind is what causes your emotional nervousness. Therefore, your mind is also what will cure it.
Practice the Cure of Nervousness:
If you are a person who has lived their life suffering from emotional nervousness, it’s time to put a stop to that vicious cycle. Be patient with yourself!
1. Be aware that your voice inside your head is NOT you!
The voice in your head is a learned pre-recorded voice from your past. Think about it… If I were to ask you to recall an argument from your past. In your head, you could hear both voices (Yours and the other persons). When your nervousness energy is stimulated, you can hear pre-recorded voices, which repeat statements from the past and plan what they could say in the future
You are NOT this voice, YOU are the witness of this voice.
How do you know you’re not the voice inside your head? Because you are witnessing the conversation in YOUR head. You are witnesses consciousness and it is your birth responsibility to wake up to this realization.
2. Begin the separation of YOURSELF from your mental voice.
Meditation creates stillness in your mindtheawakeningtrainings.com/how-to-overcome-a-panic-attack. It begins the process of silencing the voice inside your head for just a moment. Over time, these moments add up and sooner or later, the voice becomes more and more silent. And the nervousness becomes less and less. Here is a guided meditation to get you started.
3. Understand that Nervousness is simply because you CARE.
If you dn’t care about what you are thinking or doing, you wouldn’t be nervous. You’re not nervous going to work every day, right? Yet you may feel nervous if you have a presentation to give at work, right? The reason you’re nervous is not because of the presentation, it is because you care about getting the information across to your listeners. The more you CARE the more nervous you will feel. So stop calling your energy ‘nervousness’, call it ‘caring or love.’ And LOVE is a beautiful thing to feel.
