Do you often get “worked up” about things that frequently end up working out for the best? Do you ever wonder if there was a way to go about it so we choose to move forward vs turning around?
How about if we train our mind, that when there is something bad, there is something “GOOD” that is coming out of it and finding the “GOOD” in all the setbacks we experience in life.
Every set back we experience gives us the opportunity to propel us forward in life. How we embrace it determines the quality of our life. Are you going to be someone who sees the good in everything and run through life like a bull unstoppable, conquering the life that you dream of or are you going to be one who curls up and hide in your shell and stuck in your bubble of limitations
In every bad situation, we have the opportunity to figure out a solution.
Find the positive, to do that! Focus on the “GOOD.” Take that issue, take that problem, and find the “GOOD.” You bring that discipline and mindset attitude and radiate that to people around you. You will be able to propel yourself forward. This is how high performers move mountains and conquer them.
The beauty of the word “GOOD” is it is a pulse that tells us that we still have everything we need within us to figure things out, to stand up and dust off and keep going, keep fighting.
The truth is, there is nothing in life is inherently “good” or “bad”, but merely whatever we make things to be.
When we embrace this philosophy of “GOOD” it makes us immune to failures and setbacks. No matter what obstacles we face, there is some way to frame them as being a “GOOD” thing.
We must try to program our mindset to see unexpected problems as opportunities. Just as Ryan Holiday says:
“The obstacle is the way. “
It’s not something in the way. It literally is the way. It’s only by fighting through it and embracing the discomfort that you can become a better version of yourself because on the other side of every struggle is your freedom towards the life you are destined for.
Seeing and finding the “GOOD” gives us nowhere to hide, it gives us COURAGE. You can’t churn out excuses, voice complaints, or whine about how things are unfair.
You just have to look misfortune in the face, declare it to be “GOOD”, and use it as an opportunity to grow.
In our everyday lives we get so many life offerings to see the “GOOD” and the bad in every situation, we can sometimes have the tendency to see that life is mostly packed with failure after failure, and with occasional moments of victory however if we have the ability to look at a failure, call it “GOOD,” and use it as an opportunity to learn and grow, it is a power-tool to carry through life. By calling every failure “GOOD,” you put yourself in a position to shake off setbacks and experience more victories in your life.
We don’t always have to consider a problem or a setback to be bad. Even if the situation appears negative, always find the good from it. Learn from the mistakes, reevaluate the situation, and go after the next goal.
Don’t give up. Don’t quit. Be inspired, be disciplined, be proud, and get after it.
You will see that lif, after all,l is “GOOD.”
